# Possible bug? Missing Value Format field from Gauge node (type: Level)

My apologies if this is not the best place to note this (should I raise a GitHub issue?)

- Core dashboard node: Gauge
- Value Format field is missing when you select gauge type "level".
- (The Value Format field is the one where you specify which value you actually want to display)
- This happens in Chrome and Firefox
- NodeRED v1.1.2, but noticed this in previous versions
- Demo below

Workaround is to specify the incoming value by first selecting one of the other types, then switching it back over to Level.

So it's not urgent, but thought I would mention it.
