# Push button using node-red-contrib-lot

Hi guys,  
Help me how to control or setup push button in node red using node-red-contrib-lot. I try using it but I only control the led. The push button doesn't work. Give me advice how to control the push button using node-red-contrib-lot.

@Dilan welcome to the forum!

If you go to the Flows tab here on the forum and look up the node and go to its GitHub page you will notice two things

1. the author has archived the node (read only you can’t even report issues)
2. it hasn’t been updated in over three years

With this in mind, I would suggest you use a different node and that you read this [FAQ](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/note-to-new-forum-members/71295)
