# Pushover - play a custom notification sound

Hi.

I have uploaded custom notification sound.  
I don't see them in the pushover node – sound.  
Is there a way to fix this?

The read mei suggests you can pass the sound in the message: [node-red-node-pushover (node) - Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-node-pushover)

Also confirm exactly which pushover node package you are using (there is more than one contrib node in the library - you may be using the old version)

I dont know if the node is even supposed to list your added sound. Have you restarted node-red? refreshed the borwser? Have you tried setting `msg.sound` in the `msg` that triggers the pushover node?
