# Pycomm3 - Logixdriver

I've seen some examples of a simple python program reading and writing tags to the Allen Bradley Micro 820 (800 series plc). Has anyone looked at creating a Node for this function?

I'm to much of a beginner to attempt this type of project but I can say I use 100's of the AB-Micro820 and this could really come in handy.

According to the manual you can use  
DF1, modbus RTU, modbus TCP & EtherNet/IP - there are nodes for each of these.

And I do communicate to the Plc using those protocols, but with the pycomm3 and logixdriver it appears to be a much more direct connection when reading/writing the Tags.
