# Raspberry Pi Zero W Dashboard Error

To start off I am pretty new to using Node-Red and do not have too much experience with it. I had someone install the application for me and had the dashboard up and running. Today when I turned on my Pi and went to start node red I got an error saying Dashboard Version 3.1.4 requires Nodejs 12 or more recent. This was stopping me from running and working on the display. I looked at this post -\> [Dashboard on RPi Zero W](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/dashboard-on-rpi-zero-w/56267) and tried to follow the steps with no success. Any suggestions or solutions for this?

First we really need to know how node-red and nodejs were installed. Can you ask whoever installed it? In particular was Docker used?
