Continuing the discussion from [Node-RED on Mac OS Sequoia - local network access issues](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/node-red-on-mac-os-sequoia-local-network-access-issues/97139/4):

I have the same issue and I am running node-red (via PM2). I have a flow that creates an export of a local mySQL database and FTPs it to a NAS. It stopped working after the Mac Sequoia update and I now just manually copy the export over to the NAS.

I'm going to try this solution ([Node-RED on Mac OS Sequoia - local network access issues](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/node-red-on-mac-os-sequoia-local-network-access-issues/97139)) in a couple of weeks when I get back home. Hopefully I can then have my automated process back!

I can't speak for others, but in my case, my main node-red instance is on a raspberry pi, but I have 2 other instances on 2 mac minis. Once has my security system on it and the other I use for running applescripts that interact with things like reminders, the messages app, and my entertainment center. The mac minis do stuff the raspberry pi can't do and vice versa, and so they communicate with one another. The pi has no problem sending http requests to the 2 macs, but Apple keeps making their security stricter and stricter and I think that since either Ventura or Sonoma, I've been having this http request `EHOSTUNREACH` issue.
