# Reading type t thermocouple with mod bus

I am trying to read type t thermocouples with mod bus. I am not sure what function node I need and don’t know how to configure. Below is the info from the manufacturer of the thermocouples.

Yes but I don’t know how to enter the config in the node.

Do you understand the principles of modbus communications? If not then the first thing you should do is to learn about modbus. That is nothing to do with node red. Once you understand the principles of modbus then it should be clear how to configure the node. Ask again if you still can't make it work.
