# Removing a module

I'm trying to remove a module from the node-red database.

The module in question is ays-agent. I have a new module that better follows naming convention at @bithead/node-red-ays-server. Originally, I thought my module wasn't working because I failed to follow the naming convention best practices. That's why there are two modules.

I would greatly appreciate if I could get the "ays-agent" removed or be pointed in the direction of where I could do it myself. Thank you!

If you remove the node-red tag from the module and re-publish, it should go from the library.
