# Restarting Node-red

After installing certain packages or modules it is recommended to restart node-red for the changes to take place. Could anyone help how to restart node-red on Windows 10 ?

I ran node-red command on windows command prompt. And got an IP address, which I ran it in browser and now I am using that to run Node-red.

You can use ctrl-c in that command prompt will to end the process, or just close the command prompt window.
