# Search Flows results bug (I think)

After searching for a term the lower left of the editor window has a way to navigate between the results. Trouble is that the nodes don't highlight (blink) in any way and I think they are intended to. It DOES switch to the appropriate tab but that's it.

- what browser are you using?
- what version of node-red are you using?
- what theme have you set for Node-RED?

EDIT: I just tried Chromium and it is the same as Vivaldi which isn't a surprise because Vivaldi is a Chromium derivative.

Yeah, I’ve actually noticed this too — thought I was just imagining it or maybe doing something wrong 😅
Sometimes when I search for something I know is in a node’s name or even a comment, it doesn’t show up in the results, or it only finds part of it. I’ve started getting into the habit of scrolling through manually just in case the search misses something.
Would be great if the search could consistently pick up all node fields, especially things like node.name, msg properties, or even custom labels.
Glad someone else brought this up...curious if others are seeing the same or if it’s somehow project-specific.

Please share a flow and the search phrase where this happens.
Ps, the OPs issue was that the nodes are not highlighted (not that they aren't found)
