# Searching for hashtags on Mastodon

Has anyone successfully used the getMessage node from [node-red-contrib-mastodon (node) - Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-mastodon) to search for a specific hashtag yet? I got the sendMessage node working, but getMessage doesn´t respond to the hashtag I'm tooting.

Unfortunately, the developer does not provide any explanation on his GitHub site.

Found the solution, which is very straightforward.  
Just connect an inject node to the input. The output is an array of Toot objects.
