# Separate Delay node into Wait and Throttle nodes

Does it really matter what opinion AI has, surely it's users & developers that would need to support this suggestion (unless AI also uses node-RED 😉).

IMO, I prefer it to stay as it is, instead of adding yet another core node, and keeping the same feature in 2 different nodes should be avoided.

@AllanOricil If you feel strongly about this, you could always publish a contrib node and gauge what appeal that it has.
