# Set the width of the group dynamically

Hi,  
is there a posibility to the the width of a group dynamically ? e.g you set the width to 100 vw and not in 35 "units"

Hi - the existing grid is fairly well baked into the existing framework so adding dynamic sizing is not on any short term plan. Some people have modified the css using the ui\_template node to add to the section to set the overall tab width (don't think I've seen group).

Other options are you use the ui\_builder project which allows you to build whatever dashboard you like using whatever framework you like. Or to go full custom and build your own 🙂
