# Sparkfun SX1509 io expander

I have search but cant find any node red support for the SX1509 i2c module. I want to use the pwm function to expand my rpi io count and would like a simple node to set each of the pins on the module

Have you looked at the MCP23017 Port Expander ?
There are nodes for this chip
EDIT - PWM not so easy with 23017, however I have used these for PWM -

Hi I will have a look at them the reason I wanted to find out for the 1509 is because I have a few of them left over from an older project
