Stuck using Serial Node

Definitely feeding a buffer to the serial node, but for some reason it is not sending it I think.

These are the debug captures.

Is there something I should be doing to prepare the payload better for the serial node?

It looks like the serial node is only sending 0x00 as the payload, or am I misreading it?

As I said before you don’t need the in node. The serial request node does both out and in

But no the bytes look like you want. So I guess you need feedback from the manufacturer to give us another clue

Thanks for all the help, and yes, you are 100% right on the use of the nodes (I guess I was getting "node happy"). I will see what the vendor comes back with (and have a play with it every now and then, like Ahab and his whale!)
