# Third party node example

Hello

i'm probably miss a small detail, i'm trying to integrate a lib in a custom node for the dashbboard-2 and make it then avaiable.

So i started and was like yeah this should be possible.  
Then i got stuck

After i tried a lot of thing i got back to point 0 and tried to get the example to work from github:

However this doesn't work.

it loads fine in the node-red palette, but if i try to render it doesnt work.

i get the message in my broweser log:  
index-N5-Kfgx\_.js:370 No Vue component found for ui-example - falling back to ui-template

Does someone get the example to work?

Infos:

[info] Node-RED version: v4.0.9  
[info] Node.js version: v20.19.0  
[info] Windows\_NT 10.0.26100 x64 LE  
[debug] Module: @flowfuse/node-red-dashboard 1.23.0

I suspect that it also does not follow the most recent best practice for developing flowfuse dashboard nodes.
