# To know more about Node-Red

hello,  
i am a student. i would like to know, is it possible to pull the data from the Simatic PLC with this software?

In answer to your question: most likely.  
Node RED can be extended with add-on nodes, that cover a wide range of requirements.

There are many thousands of bits of hardware out there. When asking a question like this, it is helpful to share what you've already discovered such as its website and what interfaces it supports.

There are several installable contrib nodes for Siemens PLC in the flow library & palette manager.
