Apart from using the Node-RED dashboard for controlling hardware devices, I have now also added a tab that allows for the following:
- Search the TVHeadEnd EPG based on (optional) channel and program title
- Add a single recording
- Add a series recording
- Delete a single recording

Hi rsenden,
thank you very much for sharing this with us.
My personal goal is to achieve a personal timeshift with TvHeadend.
Means in short:
I want to select few channels and those channels should be "AutoREC" for at least 24 hours. I should be able to select on EPG to rewind the passed programmes.
e.g. BBC News
BBC should be recorded for 24 hours. I should be able to select at 22:00 pm from the EPG the programm at 18:00pm and should be able to watch.
In your project I can select it eachwise. Would be great if I can say channel xyz record for 24 hours.
