# typedInput is there a search functionality?

Hi there

I have a typeInput field in my node editor with around 200 entries, so a long list. Is there any way to make the options searchable or enable typing to that when e.g "s" is typed only options starting with s are displayed?

no, unlike a regular select, keypresses do not scroll the list. Nor is it filterable.

You could add a custom type autocomplete & validation 🤷
