Hello Guys

I wonder, if there exits a node, that is able to send UDP - Messages with local port set to auto AND receive some kind of answer on the same port. ( simple send / receive UDP - Socket )
If using an UDP - In and UDP - Out Node, both have to bound on the same port and that on most devices fails with "udp: port already in use" !
Or maybe there is another way to solve this ?

Thanks a lot
Manfred

which version of Node-RED are you using ? on which OS/platform ?
It should be possible to make work, though I know there are some outstanding timing issues we have on some devices.
