Hi All,
Is there a way to tweak the ui\_gauge to display "static colored sectors" instead of having a dynamic colored sector?

I'm looking for something like this:

 ![gauge_with_colored_sector](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex026/uploads/nodered/original/3X/9/e/9e04fc567587c8b32223dde6c96461d33e6beeb2.png)

Have you read the `Help` tab for the node?

If so, what don't you understand?

to be specific "If you specify numbers for the sectors, then the colours changes per sector."

Yes, I've read it.

I've set up the gauge with "Color gradient" and "Sectors" as follow:

 ![Capture d’écran 2021-01-20 à 11.56.49](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex026/uploads/nodered/original/3X/e/4/e438f200da41cc0213ec2446dbdcd4b3c1310215.png)

The gauge color changes dynamically accordingly to the settings I've set. I understand that this is the default behavior.
What I'm looking for is to display "statically" the colored sector, so the colored sectors are displayed all the time , then the "needle" will move on top of the colored sectors ...

I don't know of a way, but this might be an interesting PR for the gauge (if @dceejay thinks so). Have an option to display the colors for each section statically. Only the guage mark would change.

For the underlying library the last update about this request was Sept. 2019.

yes - it needs to be an option in the underlying justgage library before we can expose it.
