# Ui-notification allow pass-through via on-click event

Hope I'm not the only one to see the benefits of the enhancement I'm proposing for the ui-notification.
It would be very advantageous to allow message pass-through via on-click of the notification so that further action can be taken (eg a page refresh etc).
Thoughts?

Ho @Bobo, just to be sure i understand the request, are you asking for a `msg` to be emitted when the notification is confirmed?
There is a [PR](https://github.com/FlowFuse/node-red-dashboard/pull/932) that was opened a couple of months ago, that is sat with @BartButenaers to make some final changes to. Then it can be merged.

By confirmed I assume you mean the user clicks on the OK button to dismiss the notification? That is what I meant. Once the notification has been dismissed then emit a msg. Perhaps change the msg.payload input for the format of the notification to something like msg.notification, so that msg.payload can be passed straight through.
Although unrelated, another great enhancement imo would be a conditional notification (2 button notify) as well. Perhaps for another day 🙂
