# UIBUILDER - Showing Error - But working fine- Bug?

I have checked this and is repeatable. if I LOCK the editor page and restart node-red , i get these errors. but the dashboard is working just fine. If I unlock and deploy i get series of error messages, but then just click open the nodes, they automatically get rectified.  
but this is an unnecessary step i believe.  
Is this me or for everyone ?

It is for everyone. This is the error I see in dev tools for the editor:

I can't imagine that other nodes don't have this issue as well. Locking the flow tab has made the entire `this` object for the node in the editor read-only. This is a bug in Node-RED I believe. Locking the flow should lock the node's actual properties, not the whole object.

Locking the whole object means that no dynamic processing can take place at all.
