# Uibuilder: to subscribe or not to subscribe?

As an FYI, I started a new thread for FlexDash a while ago: [FlexDash: towards a new dashboard for Node-Red](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/flexdash-towards-a-new-dashboard-for-node-red/45879)  
There's now a demo that connects to Node-Red using websockets that can be tried out without downloading or installing _anything_ 🙂 🙂 (tl;dr; [FlexDash](https://tve.github.io/flexdash/#websock) and follow the instructions)
