Hi all, just to let you know that I've just pushed a change to the vNext branch on GitHub that allows you to set any options you like other than path for the Socket.IO client.
This will eventually become uibuilder v5 when published. However, if you want to try it now, please install manually from github. (npm install totallyinformation/node-red-contrib-uibuilder#vNext).
The Tech Docs (available from within any uibuilder node) have been updated with details of how to configure.
