please help I'm finding it difficult; to carry out my work without the ncd-red-wireless installed. and i have a week to deliver my work.

the screenshot you've shared doesn't show the full error. Please copy and paste the whole error log from the point it starts trying to install.

Yes, that is what the error is saying.

The node probably includes some binary components that need to be built as part of the install.

I notice you are also using an unsupported version of nodejs (v19). You should drop back to v18.  
However, you may still have problems as I can't get it to install (on Ubuntu) with nodejs 18. I think it is pulling in an obsolete version of the serialport package. No, not necessary.

Simply re-install NodeJS (V18 LTS is recommended) and ensure you tick the checkbox to include the "necessary tools"

Did you select the checkbox to install the build tools as shown earlier?

If yes, are you sure it is the same error as previously?
