# Unable to install Node-sqlite

Hi welcome to the forum

This has been asked and answered many times.

Sqlite need to be built.

And as your log says

... Something is missing.

You need the necessary suite of build tools installed before sqlite can be added.

See the npm install command described in this thread ..
