# Unable to install SQlite

you need windows-build-tools

```auto
npm install --global windows-build-tools

```

it can take a long time & appear stuck - wait it out, then try install sqlite once more

looks like you were in wrong folder.

make sure command prompt is inside your node-red folder (normally `c:\users\username\.node-red`)
