# Use of payload to select device in DeConz

Hi,
In order to be able to dynamically switch on/off multiple lights based on a generic timer, I would like to address the individual lights as to switch them on or off. I have the deConz device\_id of the lights that need to be triggered. Is it possible to select the device via a JSON? message to deConz-out node in order to switch on/off? What should the payload I need to send to deConz out need to look like?
