# Used Websockets

hello,  
does node-red v0.19.4 using regular web sockets? (it runs at my raspberry pi 3)

i am using basic for android and this webview ui control show just a white page of my "home page", only  
notifys pop up. in a browser the dashboard page looks ok.

make this webview ui control maybe a fall back to "long polling socket"?

I _think_ that the admin ui uses plain websockets. I _think_ that the Dashboard uses [Socket.IO](http://Socket.IO). Not 100% certain though.
