# Using NodeRed and a BlackMagic ATEM Video Switcher?

Using NodeRed and a BlackMagic ATEM Video Switcher? I am trying to heads or tails of the BlackMagic ATEM support in NodeRed... there are 3 contributed node packages, and I am using the most recent one, per its github release information...

But I am frankly struggling with it, in that I need to get the master audio levels displayed on a dashboard. Yes, I know the dashboard support has changed so I am currently using...

The actual BlackMagic SDK is way over my head being C++ based, so could really use some help from anyone that has done BMD ATEM integration with NodeRed.

Hi,
I use NR quite a lot in Media industry, but not a lot of experience with ATEM.... Are you able to get some messages from the ATEM, or nothing ?

I am just starting to experiment with what is returned, it is very raw, in the sense that it is really low level data structures returned. But as I figure stuff out I plan to post here.
