# Visual Studio Code defaul theme

The new version of Visual Studio Code (1.113.0) has changed the default theme (the code looks different, especially the colors).
If you want to go back to the previous default theme, from the list of themes choose **Dark Modern**

Until nobody is left who is _able_ to do the real programming, because they no longer learn or care about the base techniques. So I share your concerns.
It's just another tool, but I still want to learn how things work. You learn things by doing them yourself and make mistakes, of course.
I had this discussion with a colleague recently.
Maybe it's just FUD of a seasoned developer, but let's see where we are in a couple of years. 🤓

No, its already a real problem with hiring of entry level developers already significantly down. Thankfully, it seems like some people are already beginning to realise the limitations after the hype.
Personally, I find I still need to review all the code AI produces eventually. It is very rarely quite exactly right nor is it hardly ever the most efficient approach. So, while it helps me deliver more complex solutions that I would have been able to do on my own, it doesn't really save any time overall. Any time I save in research and coding is spent having to craft carefully worded design briefs and reviewing things not quite right.
