I understand there is currently no level node as in dashboard 1. What do you use as a replacement?

If you do mean this

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex026/uploads/nodered/original/3X/1/e/1e91a6d3d38fb986b8260f2f5e62ed980b7890b2.png)

then there's isnt any with a round shape and a wavy liquid.

Dashboard 2 gauge node gives this (waves do animate)

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex026/uploads/nodered/original/3X/3/6/36f8a4d656af31f623648b2569d47469382cdfe3.png)

And you can always do it with `ui_template`
Examples here

</div>

This I will also need, but I'm looking for the horizontal level. The gauge only offers the arc style which takes a lot of space. So just the horizontal level where I can define min, max and current value will be shown

I just saw in the link above there is another link that has some template for a horizontal level. I will check that one out.

Even better, cool thanks for pointing out.
That should be included in dashboard2.

It isn't feasible to put everything in the core dashboard, it would become bloated. There is a list of [additional nodes available](https://dashboard.flowfuse.com/nodes/widgets.html#third-party-widgets) but it seems it is not complete.

@joepavitt is there a defined procedure for getting contributed nodes into that list?

@hotNipi
Is it possible to add a mode that allows to choose 3 colors (one for left side, one for middle, one for right side) and interpolate/fade colors in between?
Other than that this is fantastic!

Guessing you are talking about gauge-linear.
Interpolation is not currently an option.

But as the node is currently under the development to add some features anyway, I may consider to find a way to make that also.

@hotNipi
Using @hotnipi/node-red-dashboard-2-ui-gauge-linear is there a way to set the decimals? Currently it always shows 2 decimals and I could not figure out how to reduce to one decimal or no decimal at all.

@hotNipi
when applying color to the linear bar, I have some difficulties at the right end. I can drag away the bar instead of applying color when holding mouse down. Trying again it works better but still sometimes it happens. See screenshot without mousepointer.
Maybe that happens after adding cells. Bot sure.

Any plans for a vertical variant? Maybe as a configuration value?

I haven't figured out any good layout for vertical.
