# What is "Offline Ready" in DB-2 dashboard

I see this on a very basic Dashboard and it has only recently shown itself.
The little guy in the bottom right of the screen.
Yeah, I could click it and find out.
But.... It just seems like an interesting question.
Anyone?

It is telling you it is Offline Ready - as in a PWA (**Progressive Web Application)** as in you can install it as an “app” on your phone.
Just click close and carry on regardless.

Does node-red have any control over that? It isn’t particularly obvious what it means, to put it mildly.

What do you mean by Control?
The App icon can be changed (and it can be disabled)?

I meant can the message be changed so that it means something to the majority of users. I thought it was telling me something about the online/offline state of my system.

No, not something the user can change.
If it were up to me, I would get rid of it altogether 😉
