# Where to store plain-text credentials in a container volume when \`credentialSecret\` is set for multiple node-RED instances?

Based on previous discussions regarding `credentialSecret` and `flows_cred.json` for multiple instances (See 1). I there are way to store the credentials of dedicated brokers, databases for node before spinning a container up? If so where should these plain-text credentials be placed so that the `crendentialSecret` then encrypts them on container start and normal execution.
