# Why don't Node-RED nodes allow multiple inputs?

Thanks knolleary,

Right I just figured it out.

I didn't notice the "and every subsequent message" tickbox in the `join` node.  
Now it's a lot simpler.

**FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT HOW TO IMPLEMENT A MULTIPLE INPUT FUNCTION ON NODE-RED, THE ANSWER IS BELOW:**
