# Working alexa node

Hi, I want to use alexa with node red like the alexa local node. Unfortunatley the node doesn't work since yesterday. Is there any other node that works similar (with an echo 2nd gen)

worked for me 2 weeks ago but requires either running Node-RED as root or port forwarding port 80 to a higher port number

How to get it going here

(I don't use it normally - I use node-red-contrib-alexa-home-skill but that requires an account with a 3rd party)
