# WorldMap Panel - How to stop the "reset" of the map view after 30 seconds?

I'm using the WorldMap Panel heavily right now, and I noticed that after 30 seconds, my map will always "reset" to the base GPS coordinates and zoom level. This is a pain when working on the map in detail.

Has anyone seen this before and found a fix? This seems to be constant after 30 seconds no matter what is set within the node on the canvas.

Thank you!!! Any insight would be much appreciated.

There is nothing in the worldmap itself to reset it every 30 seconds. The only ways to reset it are a) refreshing the page or b) sending it a control message to recentre it... so it must be something your code is doing.
