# Zigbe Xiaomi TrHP sensor + CC2531

Hello.  
Is it possible to use CC2531 to sniff ZigBee packets without using zigbee2mqtt?

The question is not very specific.  
Could you please tell us which xiaomi hardware you want to control.  
Do you already have another Zigbee gateway, for example the one from Xiaomi ?  
Zigbee2mqtt allows to read all the packets emitted by the zigbee devices and transform this information to send it via MQTT to any home automation that can read MQTT.  
This program works perfectly in the background on a Pi.
