Been tinkering with Home Automation since the '80's. Enerlogic/X10, then Homeseer/Insteon since the early 2000's. Started the transition to HA/Node Red/Rpi/Shelly about a month ago replacing Insteon devices with Shelly ones which is going fine

So I'm in total HA/NodeRed Noob mode at the moment. Been watching the NodeRed tutorials of the flows and Palette and now trying to get the details of getting the physical devices info in and out of Node Red.
