I am a project manager for a metals company. I enjoy my work and every once in a while I get a side project that I get to develop from the ground up.

I got an opportunity to build some message boards for production data, so I used node-red to do the project even though I could have spent some money and purchased a solution off the shelf.

I love to learn and have three boys under the age of 10. My oldest wants me to teach him Javascript so I have to find projects that force me to learn it.
