Long retired telecom engineer (aerospace branch). Did some programming 50 years ago, but only took it up again a few years ago to play with Raspberry Pi and Arduino, primarily for the mental exercise. I am enjoying it and learning a lot, but there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge and the learning curve is sometimes very steep. I am currently dabbling in IOT (RPi Pico, sensors, mqtt, node-red, InfluxDB and (later) Grafana.
