Evening all has anyone had any success with a audio level meter / logger?
I've got a Adafruit I2S MEMS Microphone and an Adafruit Electret Microphone Amplifier –MAX9814 along with a MCP3008 and I'm just wondering if anyone has had any success with creating a sound / noise logger.
Basically I want to add ambient noise monitoring to my Rpi NR weather station project. I'm not interested in recording the audio and I'd like to do something a bit more elegant than noise true/false, basically log the noise level periodically.
Any ideas / pointers welcome.
