Hi,
I had the same issue with few Rpi’s 3 and 4, so I just abandoned an idea to use NR charts on Rpi. Now playing with the idea to save date to Cloud and to use Grafana Cloud to display all dashboards / charts I want. It also should add an advantage as it will be accessible from anywhere, not just locally.

Yes, you really need something a lot lighter in weight. Thankfully, such things exist
