I also read through the previous pages on this website, but can't see anything about the licence of the logo usage.
I have a commercial project and want to add the node-red logo on the thumbnail of the "app/product" - so in the matter -> node-red included

Node-RED is a trademark of the OpenJS Foundation. As long as your use of the logo doesn't imply endorsement or ownership then it is fair usage.
