Documentation for exec node

I know there must be a simple answer, but can anyone tell me where to find the documentation for the exec node? Specifically, I can run the command and receive back the answer in the payload, but I would like to receive two parameters and send them out different outputs. I don't know what the three outputs are for and how to use them, but presumably they serve some useful purpose, and I wonder whether that may help me.

Thanks for that, however my question is not about bash, but about the node-red exec node and how to use that.

Actually, I found the doco - there all the time in the info tab!

So they are:
Standard output
Standard error
Return code
