Hi!
I would like to add a doorbell to Homekit.
Everything goes so far, but the Homekit app on the iPhone says that it is not supported. Furthermore it is not possible to select the homeobs which should play the sound.
Is there a trick how to do that?
and is it also possible to play an own bell tone?
Homekit doorbells are restricted by Apple (i think they are assumed to be video doorbells that are certified), however although they state "not supported", the doorbell does get triggered (ie, sound+notification) when pushed, but that is the only thing it will do.
