It’s possible to copy/paste nodes including all their parameters but is there any way to achieve the same with config-nodes ?
No, it isn’t possible today.
We have an item on the backlog for improving the config node sidebar - I’ve added a note to allow duplicating nodes as it wasn’t something on the list, but a worthwhile addition.

In the case of a custom config-node, would it be possible to use the RED object to duplicate a config-node ? Maybe using methods like RED.nodes.add() ?
