GPIO on Raspberry Pi are stopped

How do I do that?

Go to the 'Manage palette' in the hamburger menu at the top right of the edit.
enter gpio in the search topic.
press the 'update to 2.0.5' button

NOTE: you will need to restart NR

I'll do a test with a fresh install.

Can I ask the dumb question: In the RasPi settings, do you have the GPIO pins enabled?

One of the pages is used to enable I2C, SPI and GPIO stuff.

If that is disabled.......

Just throwing it out there....

As I have often fallen for the trap that I think something is set when it isn't.

I reinstalled everything and gpio version 2.0.5 appeared automatically as well as another surprise Node red ver .3.0.
After many deploys I didn't notice the issues appearing.
It strikes me that this version - 2.0.5 of the pins was uploaded a few hours before I used it!
