- Almost of third of respondents use separate ‘development’ and ‘production’ systems, however they do not have any automation to move between them. This was also reflected in the written comments looking for workflow improvements around version control, CI/CD integration testing and documentation to support these scenarios
How to understand this paragraph?
A third of the survey respondents use 2 systems, one they develop in and one for their production. They also don't have any automated way of transporting the changes from their development system to their production. So they move changes across manually or manually make the changes in the production system directly.
